Save the Englewood Public Library |
The Englewood Library 2010 funding was reduced by
$215,000. This translated to reduced hours and service in addition to
staff. On Wednesday, September 29th, the library will be closed.
For the remainder of the year, the library will close on the last
Wednesday of each month.
Please join us in our campaign to “Keep Our Library
FULL Service” by attending the library boards meeting the third
Tuesday of the every month. Please check out the
calendar, to find out the date for the
next library trustee meeting and let your voice be heard.
As part of a our "Keep Our Library FULL
Service"
campaign, the
library had its first fundraiser at the Blue Moon Mexican Cafe, on
Wednesday July 14th. We raised $735! We thank all who participated.
The library staff is currently working on the
following fundraising projects. If you have any experience organizing
these types of events, we would love to have your input and involvement.
