Kick-off Summer Reading Club/ Registration
the Science-tellers & Ice Cream
Time: 4 – 5:30 pm
Ages 4 - 11
This summer, come along with us on an epic, laughter-filled journey that proves 'super' heroes really DO exist! Throughout the tale, volunteers from the audience help conduct exciting experiments that make the characters' super powers and heroic deeds come to life!

Fit 4 Kids with Muscle Man Mike
Time: 5 – 6pm
Ages 4 - 11
Join us as we celebrate our summer theme, “Every Hero has a Story!”
Muscle Man Mike and his superhero puppet teach us that healthy habits make healthy kids.

Members of the Summer Reading Club will be divided into teams. Teams will decode and find clues hidden in the library's book stacks.

The Green Golly Project, Time 6:15 pm
Ages 4 & up
Teach your children to be a great audience and participate joyfully. This original, highly interactive program is an introduction to live music, comedy and theatre for children. The original music of award winning
actor-songwriter-storyteller Keith Torgan, and the virtuosity of Julliard trained flutist and educator Barbara Siesel, will tickle all audience members!

  • The membership passes are available for loan to adult Englewood  Library patrons in
    good standing. A current adult Englewood Public Library card is required.
  • Families and individuals may borrow only one pass at a time.
  • There is a $10.00 deposit required at time of borrowing.  The deposit is returned when the pass is  on time .  If returned late the patron forfeits the deposit and may accrue additional fines.
  • Passes cannot be reserved in advance, but may be held for a maximum of thirty minutes by
    the library’s clock, provided the desired pass is available in the library at the time the
    request is made.
  • Please call 201-568-2215 ext. 242 or stop by the Children’s Room Desk to check on the
    availability of a pass.
  • Passes circulate for two(2) days.
    • (ex: a pass borrowed on a Wednesday is due by closing (4:30 pm on  Friday).
